Miami-based Magic Ice USA began building the seasonal 50-by-70-foot ice rink Nov. 12, and now it's ready for the traditional holiday slipping and sliding fun of novices and show-offs to skate 'round the rink to Top 40 music, stocked with skates for rent. It's decorated with garlands and provides a breezy workout in the daytime (as well as pratfalls and cuteness and comedy), but at night, with Christmas lights a-twinkling, it's fairly enchanting.
