AJ is one funny dude. Maniacal but precise, urban but universal, and smaaaart. He was once an engineer at IBM, but went the comedy route. And it was the right choice. You would have to be funny to do comedy tours and movies and hang out with Chris Tucker and the Wayans brothers. The self-proclaimed "King of Clean" has also been on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, HBO's Comic Relief, the Ace Award-winning TV series Comic Justice and, maybe most especially, Showtime at the Apollo (Jamal will never see Sandman except to kick it with him backstage). Going further back, you may remember Jamal from In Living Color and as a pontificaterous cellmate in Don't Be a Menace to Society When Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. [WR]
