No need to dust off those old-timey pans and picks—the precious stones are coming to you. On the hard, gem-encrusted hills (not really) of Monterey County Fairgrounds, more than 40 world-renowned importers, exporters and manufacturers will be showcasing sparkling selections of jewelry, gems, beads, crystals, minerals, and more. Nowhere to put your prize? There will be jewelry making tools, supplies, and boxes available. If you're just looking to shine up or repair your jewelry, there will be spots to do so on-site—and you may end up walking away with a rock you didn't know you needed.
