North Monterey County LULAC's annual "Glitter and Glamour: Fashion Show and Dance" celebrates fashion (think gorgeous, glitzy formalwear), music (with a special tribute to Carlos Santana) and dance (spoiler alert: adorable little girls have been practicing for the opening act). Proceeds benefit the NMC LULAC scholarship fund for North Monterey County students pursuing a college degree. With more than $200,000 in NMC LULAC awards so far, this is a dance that makes a difference. [KA]
