It's back with a whole new slew of events to drop into Carmel's laps. The festival stars films, including a highly anticipated and potentially daring The Sessions, starring Helen Hunt and William H. Macy, with entries coming in from documentaries, shorts, student works, animated numbers and more. And there are music happenings and art and parties and panels that revolve around those films, and filmmaking, like moons around a big, rich planet. Special guests include Cloris Leachman, directors and other film folks, and the return of Mr. Brainwash, "star" of that irascible film Exit Through the Gift Shop. It's going to be a wooly-bully, rollicking time. [WR]
