The Offset Project works to reduce carbon emissions through grassroots initaives in the Monterey area, showing up to help people sort the recyclable plastic forks and cups from the bathwater of trash at public events, they diverted 2,520 pounds of food from vendor areas in 2011. To celebrate theyre throwing a party of their own, Spanish style with Sangria, tapas and flamenco at the Memory Garden in downtown Monterey.
