A little fresh air and a spectacular view never hurt anyone. The Monterey County Parks Department invites excited hikers to hike and learn about the little known facts and wonders of local Jacks Peak Park. Bring a picnic lunch for a perfectly fine way to spend a Saturday afternoon. There's a $5 fee at the gate, but the event is free.
