Celebrating the United Nations with a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the 2012 International Film Festival

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, in partnership with the Monterey Bay Chapter of the UNA, will be celebrating the 67th anniversary of the United Nations by giving a sneak peak of the International Film Festival. Larry Levine, president of the UNA, is scheduled to kick off the event with a brief history of the United Nations followed by a few words from film programmer Karen Davis about the importance of documentary films. The night will be concluded with cake to celebrate the U.N.’s birthday.
