Vince Voegeli, resident director of UC Berkeley's Hastings Natural History Reserve, in the Santa Lucia mountain range, talks about its research and history as part of the library's First Saturday series. The 2,500 acres was stablished in 1937 as a pristine wildlife for research to happen and has, since beginning, hosted more than 500 research projects.
