A slate of prominent women activists are attending, including keynote speaker Louise Bernikow, California Arts Council chair Malissa Feruzzi Shriver and Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke.
5pm Fri; 9am Sat. National Steinbeck Center, One Main Street, Salinas. Free/First Friday; $65/student half day conference; $100-$165/general admission conference; $625-$2,500/VIP conference packages. www.HonoringWomensRights.eventbrite.com.
