Timbalero Andy Sierra started Salinas 10-piece Nu Horizon, fusing young players with veterans from other hotshot bands like Chicano All Stars and Zebop, two vocalists, horns and aimed them at rocking dance floors with potent funk, old school, R&B, rock and Latin music, which they've done at festivals and private parties.
