Act III, Scene 2 of George Bernard Shaw's 1903 play Man and Superman is known as a burst of playwriting brilliance, occupied by idiosyncratic, intelligent, comedic characters. It's such rich theater it's usually performed as a standalone production of Don Juan in Hell, which means the veterans at Paper Wing can fine tune this meeting between three characters plucked from Mozart's Don Giovanni—Juan, Doña Ana and the Commander—plus the devil, for an extra-textured account of Hell. They'll debate the virtues of spending eternity in Heaven or Hell, this quartet of debaters offering up a hefty dose of philosophizing. [SR]
