California International Airshow at The Salinas Municipal Airport

Salinas gets high, as the California International Airshow pushes the altitudes once again. Performances include the highly anticipated Canadian Forces C-18, The Patriots, and of course, a good old military demonstration. This year's airshow covers all sorts of ground and even has a slot for a few bone crushing monster trucks. Individual pilots take charge and show their stuff in series of areobatic displays from Sean D. Tucker, Jacquie B. Warda, Ken Pietsch, and Clay Lacy. Advanced tickets prices are available now and will end on Sep. 21st. Be forewarned tickets at the gate are $5 more than advance price. And for those willing to spend the $2500 dollars on the first year membership of the Presidents Club, don't fret a good $1250 will be donated to that member's chosen charity. Membership includes entry to the President's Tent, a chance to watch young chefs of the Drummond Culinary Academy duke it out in a food challenge, and sweet access to exceptional food and beverages. Spots in the Presidents tent are limited and passes are only available through the airshow office. Gates open at 9 am.
