Walk down to this South Main Street underground gallery and urban wear store during Salinas's First Friday Art Walk as they present "Street Signs: A Hand Painted Sign Show." The exhibition features traditional sign painters, pinstripers, and street artists who all share an enthusiasm for the age old craft of sign painting on various materials and mediums. They include Juan Espinosa, Eddie Padilla, John Waldo Glaspey, Gnarson Cornett, Bestia, Retro, Jaws, Erick Tapley, Wim, Rudeboy, Alan Signs and others. Along with this array of type, local Salinas musicians Cali-Nation and Perski on the Ones and Twos provide musical entertainment. [YG]
