Activities for Kids at Hilltop Park Center

The Monterey Recreation department assembles four diverse programs for kids 3-5 years old, on afternoons February through May. They are Clay Play (Thursdays, Feb. 7-28 and May 2-23), offering kids the opportunity to get dirty and creative; Dinomania (Thursdays, March 7-April 4) with dinosaur learning, fossil digging and volcanic fun; Little Science Explorers (Wednesdays, March 6-27 and May 1-22) a workshop of experiments, books and crafts that engage the intellect and imagination; and Toddling Gourmet (Fridays, March 1-22) that puts kids in a "kitchen" to concoct salads, sandwiches and soups. Must pre-register.
