Hosted by the Monterey Terrorism Research and Educational Program, the "The Nexus Of Terrorism And Trafficking: Clear And Present Danger?" conference will explore the possible links between terrorism and international criminal cartels by bringing together diverse experts in the field of counterterrorism, trafficking, and financing to discuss such issues. The essential question to be discussed by analysts at the conference is whether the terrorist-trafficking nexus is really an imminent threat, or just hype. Although the event is free, registration is required.
