The run doesn't cover all that much distance—there are 5K and 10K challenges—but the coastal-parkland path does cover a lot of beauty, and it does go a long way toward starting lucky 2013 on the right, um, foot. And it goes that much further in the close-knit community—as long as a lifetime, you could say—as it benefits Natividad Medical Foundation's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund. Lace 'em up. [MCA]
