"The Legacy of Farming" Art Reception at the Sunset Center

Well known local artist Rolf Lygren portrays the Latino field worker's experience through his exhibition titled "The Legacy of Farming" in the Marjorie Evan's Gallery at the Sunset Center. The exhibition includes original watercolors, oils and acrylic paintings completed at the artist's studio in Carmel Valley. Monterey County's inspiration on Lygren's artist expression reveals itself in this collection where each piece is a depiction of the dignity and work experiences of Latino farm workers. Lygren reminds his audience to acknowledge the farm and the workers that feed us all, respectfully.
