Finally, someone's proverbially spanking the author who created Anastasia Steele, fiction's least compelling character. She gets spanked in the trashy bestseller 50 Shades of Grey, but in such a formulaic way the book is itself a form of unintentional comedy. Which means this parody—part sketch comedy, part Chippendale performance—is sure to be far more titillating than the book. Christian Grey, the uber-sexy billionaire sadist from the book, knows how to sing, dance and crack a whip, as it turns out. If you're in the mood, there's also a lingerie trunk show, books about how to get your kink on, photo booths, and a cocktail hour starting at 7pm. [SR]
