At Monterey County Branch of the NAACP holds a regular meeting that hosts a special guest speaker in Monterey County Superintendent o Schools Nancy Kotowski. She will talk abou the 2012 Monterey County Education Report to the Community, in particular how our schools are doing compared to state averages, improvements undertaken in the last 10 years, and improvements still needed. Then the public gets to offer input. This is part of what democracy and the exchange of ideas looks like.
