Bard and biographical dramatist Taelen Thomas' rumbling voice is set at a friendly and rustic register that makes his readings and recitations of words from Steinbeck to Hemingway to Twain a pleasure to the inner ear. He applies that worn copper voice to stories and readings of poems from his new chapbook, Inside of a Galloping Buffalo, of elemental poems of anacondas and queens, time and sunsets, bones and, of course, buffalo. It's Americana reflection and adventure. He follows that with recitations of Jeffers' powerful wrestling prose. [WR]
