Monterey Peninsula College Theatre Company's 2013 season opens with the Storybook Theatre production of Cinderella. Ayanna Blount stars in this adaptation by Michele Vacca, supported by Mary Ann Lucido as wicked stepmother Frieda Frumppkin and Faith Collins-Beety as Cinderella's fairy godmother. Vacca's adaption for all ages weaves magical coincidences into a romantic and humorous telling of the story of the mistreated stepdaughter who becomes a fairytale princess.
