The annual Jazz Bash By the Bay is all about numbers: This year marks number 33 for the event. Eight world-renowned musicians will be on hand including Tin Pan Alley, swing vocalist Banu Gibson. 17 bands will be rousing folks to the dance floor, like the 10-piece, big band outfit from San Francisco, Royal Society Jazz Orchestra. There will also be three youth bands showing off their talents and a Thursday night kick-off Gala Swing Dance Party featuring a 15-piece big, big band that calls themselves ClickTrax.
