The Museum of Monterey hosts two guitar strumming acts Friday evening. Eva Beneke has played with the German Symphony Orchestra, played live alongside Carrie Underwood at the American Country Music Awards, and has traveled the world due to the renown her audiences all over the globe hold her to. Classical guitarist duo, LeChic Duo (Iren Arutyunyan and Sofia Gleeson), formed in 2009 and in only a few short years, they have collaborated with musicians like Scott Tennant, Brian Head, and Pepe Romero. As they continue to tour, they continue gaining traction, and this could be the perfect opportunity to get in on the ground floor as fans of talented musicians who are on the cusp. In addition, Beneke teaches a guitar master class at the museum on Saturday. [GS]
