Boogie Down Productions frontman/founder KRS-One is a hip-hop icon. The Bronx native, Lawrence Parker, has been a lyrical force in the game since BDP's classic 1987 debut Criminal Minded—from Rolling Stone to Vibe to The Source, the record has made several "Top All-Time Hip-Hop" lists and remains just as relevant in 2013. Last year, KRS released his 13th solo LP The BDP Album to critical acclaim and he's already got a new one in the works entitled Just Like That. No word on a release date as of now but one thing's for sure: Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone. [AJ]
