At 13, Mandy was unable to relate to her parents or her teachers in school and she was becoming increasingly depressed and emotionally unstable. "I started getting suicidal when things were bottling up inside me," she says. adding that she used to walk in the middle of Carmel Valley road in hopes to get hit by a car.
