Out of Site, Out of Mines?

Environmental officials say they never certified Fort Ord land slated for transfer this week.

An official from the California Environmental Protection Agency says the agency may boycott the ceremonial transfer of Fort Ord lands this Friday in protest of the Army's failure to notify environmental officials before signing off on the document that certified the transfer of nearly 700 acres of Fort Ord property.
