In 1992, Michael Huffington set new national spending records to win a seat in Congress--$5.5 million--almost all of it his own. That seems like a pittance now that he's embarked on a quest for the US Senate Seat held by Democrat Dianne Feinstein--a campaign he's already spent more than $10 million on, and that will most likely exceed a pricey $25 million in Huffington funds.
