Critics say reuse plans ignore problem of unexploded ordnance.

Daring high-speed thrills are what you normally expect to find at the Laguna Seca Raceway, but a recent request by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors for an expedited transfer of Fort Ord land for track improvements at Laguna Seca has local reuse advisory groups alarmed at what they consider to be an excessively risky, fast-track maneuver around mandated federal cleanup regulations.
