Two schools face EPA action for failing to comply with federal testing standards for drinking water.

The San Benancio School and Washington Union Elementary School are two of eight schools in the state under the threat o administrative action--including fines ranging from $500-$25,000--from the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for failure to comply with federal requirements for testing water systems for copper and lead.
