Resentment of government interference in everyday life is as American as apple pie. Whether the issue is an unwanted tax on tea in Colonial days, or a current Salinas city ordinance governing the parking of recreational vehicle (RV) within the city limits, the debate over the appropriate role of government and the enforcement of laws is unending.
