Accusation, denial and counter-accusation are the order of the day at Seaside City Hall.

Steve Prelsnik, president of the Seaside Firefighters Association, offers an anecdote that he says is illustrative of Seaside City Manager Tim Brown's management style. According to Prelsnik, once during a meeting at the fire station, Brown lit up a cigarette. When told that there was no smoking in the station, Brown refused to put out the cigarette.
