Monterey has its Burger King controversy; Seaside has Miracle Auto Painting and Body Repair. Since May, Miracle Auto Painting's efforts to set up shop in a long-vacant building in the Seaside Auto Center have met with resistance from established auto dealers and, say Miracle managers, from Seaside itself.
