The Carmel Art Scene

Carmel sure ain''t the sleepy artist''s colony it used to be. Corporate galleries paying big bucks in rent and hocking non-local art to cash-wielding tourists have nudged out locally owned galleries along Carmel''s main drag, while local starving artists struggle to feed their palettes. What do tourists think of the changing Carmel art scene?
