No one really knows for sure when Christ was born. Have you ever thought about why we celebrate Christmas on Dec. 25?

Does it bother you that we celebrate Christmas in December? I don''t believe in Jesus so it doesn''t have any religious significance to me. When I celebrate Christ-mas, it''s with friends and family.
What about just re-naming the holiday to eliminate religious connotations? Even though I''m not a believer, Christmas is a name that''s been used for so long. But it''s lost its meaning.

Does it bother you that we celebrate Christmas in December because the Church says that''s when Jesus was born? I don''t really celebrate it because of that.
Some say Jesus was born in the summer. Could you imagine the holiday being moved to July or August? Well, we are kind of used to having it in the winter time.
What about just re-naming the holiday to eliminate religious connotations? Christmas is fine, but that doesn''t mean you have to celebrate it in that way.

Why do you celebrate Christmas? To celebrate Jesus Christ.
Historical evidence suggests that Jesus was born during the summer. Could you imagine the holiday being moved to July or August? I''ve never heard that, but if that is true there would still be a need to celebrate it because it''s my favorite season.
What about just re-naming the holiday to eliminate religious connotations? That''s fine. I mean, people''s religions differ. Everyone, no matter what religion they are, should be with their families.
