New Millennium-- New Thinking?

OK, folks. It's the year 2000. We made it. Now what? Will we continue to be horrendously mater- ialistic or will we at least make the effort to transcend earthly pleasures and seek comfort in loftier places?

Do you think the new millennium will bring about a higher consciousness? I don't see anyone changing their way of thinking.

Is the New Age a fluke or are people generally turning to spirituality? I think people will get more spiritual. They're looking for more of an explanation for what they're doing.

Will this create harmony between people and their environment? I can see people being nicer to everyone and everything in their surroundings.

Is the New Age a fluke, or do you think that a mass of people are turning on to spirituality? I have noticed a flux of spirituality. But I don't know if that's anything to do with the millennium.

Is the New Age connected to people turning to spirituality? The New Age has been around since the '60s; the age of Aquarius...

Do you think a higher order can bring harmony to people and their surroundings? I've always believed in that.
