Lovers' Ball Call for Entries. Artwork is needed for the Sensual Love Art Show (formerly the Erotic Art Show) presented by Uncle Jam and three spirits art center in conjunction with their annual Lovers' Ball, Feb. 12 in the Monterey Fairgrounds. Artists should bring one or two pieces, in any medium, to the Fairgrounds' Turf Club Feb. 12 between 10am and 1pm. $10 entry per piece; $100 prizes for Most Sensual and Best of Show. (415) 934-9845.
Monterey History and Art Association Las Familias. Personal artifacts belonging to Monterey's "first families," including the Alvarados, Larkins, Coopers and Vallejos, along with paintings and documents from Monterey's early days.
