Soul For Sale?
Street Talk
Thursday, January 27, 2000
Nowadays, it seems that people are willing to sell just about anything to get ahead. Some folks will even sell their internal organs to earn some extra bucks.
But what about selling something of yours that doesn''t even exist in the material sense? Would you sell your very soul to advance an earthly pursuit?

If you could have anything or do anything better, would you sell your soul? If somebody said that to me, I would think they were too weird. But if they did, I would sell my soul to throw every government into economic chaos.
What would you do when you got what you wanted--that chaos? Probably meet up with some friends and break some things.
Why do you think someone would want to sell their soul? It''s just too weird. Nobody really knows the answer to that.

What would you sell your soul for? To be a world-famous musician/pianist.
Why the heck would you want to do that? It''s your soul. For fortune and fame--to get as much money as I could and spend it as fast as I could.
What do you think people knowingly or unknowingly sell their souls for? Sex, power, and popularity.

Would you sell your soul for? That question is irrelevant. I would never sell my soul. (Scoffing.)
Why not? Isn''t there anything you want? Well, from my religious standpoint, I would rather be in heaven than gain something material now.
So what do you figure people sell their souls for on a daily basis? Money.
