Volunteer Training | MONTEREY—The Monterey Bay Sanctuary Citizen Watershed Monitoring Network needs a few good volunteers to monitor storm drain outfalls in Monterey, Pacific Grove and Capitola. It requires between four and eight hours a month, June through October. Volunteers will use an EPA Pollution Detection Kit to analyze sample water in the field for common pollutants like detergents, chlorine and copper. No experience is necessary. 9:30am-1pm.
