Q: it’s prom season. What does the word “prom” bring to mind for you?
Follow-up: What would your dream prom theme be?

A: For my first prom, the guy I wanted to go with asked me, but broke the date three days later because he had found a better date. I married the man I went to my second prom with.
Oldie But Goodie: “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” I think that was actually my prom theme in high school.

A: The after party. Well I guess it was the before and after party. We were drinking before and they had breathalyzers at the door. I was honest and said we had wine at dinner, so I never made it to the prom.

A: Fluffy dresses and corsages. I wore a halter dress, though. I remember my mother trying to cover me up.
No De-Nile: “Egyptian.” Everyone would wear gold and black make-up like Tutankhamen.
