Jane Morba spends a lot of her days chasing down assignments for the Weekly, and on weekends she often shoots weddings. So she always has her camera with her. When she sees something she likes, she pulls over and shoots it.
Even though photography is her job, Jane sometimes just likes to wander around taking pictures of stuff she finds interesting. Since February 2006, many of these images have appeared on the Weekly’s contents page in a feature labeled “Etc.” In the following pages, we have collected 15 that have not yet made their way into the paper — a collection of random moments that offer a glimpse of Monterey County through one artist’s lens.
