COMMUNITY ACTION COMMISSION | COUNTYWIDE – The Monterey County Community Action Partnership seeks volunteers from Districts 2, 4 and 5 to fill vacancies on the Community Action Commission, an advisory board intended to influence programs that assist and empower low-income residents through contracts with nonprofit agencies. The commission meets on the third Monday of the month, at 4:30pm in Salinas. SEASIDE CITY COUNCIL | SEASIDE – The City Council holds a public hearing regarding a proposed amendment to the municipal zoning code that would ban medical marijuana dispensaries within Seaside.
