LETTERS FOR TROOPS | COUNTYWIDE—Operation Yellow Ribbon will send another 800 care packages to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan on March 20, and the most important item in each package is a letter or card. They need non-political letters of support or unsealed cards to be included in the shipment. For the care packages, the most requested items are new or used DVDs, CDs, AT&T international or global phone cards, beef jerky and pop-top tuna and chicken lunches. Cash/checks also accepted.
