Follow-up: Is there such a thing as too many?
LANCE ERICKSON | Manager of Engineering | Pacific Grove
A: I love the fresh produce, but I also love the inexpensive flowers. My wife has been spoiled. Three dollars I can afford. I like the knickknacks too. Many are unique, but I rarely buy.
Mo Better: We’re thinking of having one in Pacific Grove and I like that idea. More markets give growers more opportunity to sell directly.
REBEKAH REYES | Professional Mom | Monterey
A: The variety of vendors. It’s a family outing. I also love the atmosphere of the people. You feel like you’re part of the community.
Tough Sell: I used to sell in Monterey in Oldtown. I think that there definitely can be too many markets. You see the same vendors. For a vendor it is hard when constantly going to markets. Each time you pray you sell enough.
JOE RUDOLPH | Army Private | Seaside
A: I like to watch the people. The general way people can be without ever knowing it. If I have to walk between people, I have to duck and dodge and nobody moves. They’re unaware of their surroundings. They walk around in their own little bubbles.
Minimum Wedge: Easily, indisputably so. Why are there two in Monterey? Make one for the whole area and make it better.
