Follow-up: What would you put on a stamp?

CAITLIN KILTY | Teacher | Prunedale

A: Probably law enforcement. We are always on the defense [about them] until we need them. They really do a lot more that people don’t see.

Home Slice: Something about the Monterey Bay—like the Aquarium—so it localizes the stamp.

BOB MONEY | Gas Attendent | Castroville

A: Transit systems, because people think roads just appear and that there is no service to keep them up and running.

Wide Pride: The California flag, to represent this great state.

MEGAN LETTS | Student | Anchorage

A: Education. People go to school but they don’t appreciate it like they should. Many high school kids don’t think they’ll use education in the future, but they will.

Cool Cat: I’d put Lester Young. I’m a jazz musician and enjoy his work.
