Big Sur Land Trust celebrated its 30th anniversary by announcing a reconstituted mission that focuses on expanding access to its conserved lands to more members of the wider community.
As part of that effort, they have prioritized place-based programs at properties like Mitteldorf and Glen Deven. That means those jaw-dropping pieces of land will host even more members on hikes, artists in residence and kids participating in environmental education programs, a promising development for local disadvantaged youth and other community shareholders who have been invited to participate in the visioning process.
