Follow-up: What would make a creative name for a color?
JOHN WOOD | Contractor | Pacific Grove
A: All the unique objects inside [a house] that people collect make it a home. My wife is an antiques dealer and the pieces give the house a personality.
Sea Peace: Shallow water blue, because it has a lot of life and reflects the sun nicely.
ROBIN ROBINSON | Artist | Carmel
A: Original art from my friends, because it’s like having their souls inside my house all the time.
Camo-fog: Spanish moss green, because there is a lot it around here. It would help my house blend with the fog better.
KENNETH RICHARDS | Contractor Sales | Monterey
A: Rich, lively colors help make a home. They give a more upbeat feel that is comfy rather than depressing.
Sleek Peak: Black steel. It would look cool on my motorcycle. It is a healthy, dark color that is rich and has depth
