DUNES AGREEMENT |MARINA– The City Council wants to invest about $106 million in tax increments to keep The Dunes on Monterey Bay development going. The project’s proposed second implementation agreement reduces the number of workforce units from 124 to 62, decreases the land price by $5 million and converts 100 live/work units into regular townhomes. In exchange, developer Marina Community Partners will resume construction and start sharing profit with the city at the 9 percent threshold instead of 22 percent. Got questions or concerns? GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER |SEASIDE– The Seaside Police Department invites locals to participate in the 5th annual National Night Out, aimed at strengthening the community by encouraging neighbors to build stronger community relations. City staff will be on hand displaying vehicles and specialized equipment, along with representatives from county agencies and community organizations.
