Follow-up: Where is the first – and last place – you would want to travel?
KATHY DEVOY | Ag Packaging Sales | Salinas
A: Better airline service with a better ease of check-in. There needs to be less “cattle-lines” and the airports need to become more efficient with luggage check-in.
Old Country: First, Italy. Last, Afghanistan.
GAYLORD SMITH | Retired Teacher | Prunedale
A: I think a high-speed rail train. You could go from Southern to Northern California in a few hours without the hassle of a plane. Later it could go to other areas. Trains usually go to the center of a city, whereas airports are on the outskirts.
Big Red: First, China – in the usual tourist-y areas. Last, Iraq.
ASHLEY CALICA | Safeway Bakery Clerk | Salinas
A: The buses and buslines need to make it more affordable and accesible for everyone. Cheaper fees and more stops, especially with Greyhound. BART needs to come further south.
Tropic Topic: First, the Caribbean. Last, China…it’s too crowded.
