Follow-up: What advice would today’s you give yourself back then?
HAZEL KOKAYE |Public Relations | Pacific GroveA: Eleven years ago a man swept me off my feet. I packed all of my things into his red Corvette and followed him from Michigan to Colorado. The relationship was over within a year. He wore more makeup than I did.
Wild Side: Just enjoy life. The crazy stuff makes you stronger.
RUDY ROSALES | Retired | Pacific Grove
A: My fourth wife and I were walking on the beach. I thought I saw a bottle in the water. I went home, got a rope and lassoed it. I pulled up a torpedo. The police evacuated the area. If the torpedo had hit the rocks, it would have blown up half of Pacific Grove. I saved P.G.
Love It: Don’t marry four times.
HEATHER VON | Cosmetologist | Santa Barbara
A: One day, my ex-boyfriend calls and asks me to go to Puerto Rico. There we were sleeping on the beach and kids came up and demanded money. My ex fights them; the next thing, the police are there with AKs.
Don’t Grow Up: Cherish the years when you’re young. It gets harder.
